2024 Annual Fundraiser
Our need for funding is more urgent than ever in order to maintain our continuing support of our service outreaches.
GWACS and, more importantly, the clients we serve, are asking for your financial support during these difficult times which are magnified in the lives of our clients.
Our homeless and newly homeless clients have been left without many resources and abandoned by many organizations as they struggle to stay on their feet. Local food pantries and many social services continue to remain closed. Social distancing has made one-on-one counseling very difficult to attain, depriving clients from needed services.
GWACS has not stopped or reduced our efforts to serve those in need.
Our sponsorship levels are as follows:
· Platinum Sponsorship: $1,000 or more will sponsor one of the Starfish outreaches for one month
· Gold Sponsorship: $500 will sponsor the Feeding the Needy for one month
· Silver Sponsorship: $250 will sponsor Widow Mite meals and repair materials for one month
· Bronze Sponsorship: $100 will sponsor homeless needs and First Step Back for one month

- We continue to serve the homeless and needy on Front Street, Wilmington DE. At every serve our clients are offered toiletries, water, bag lunches, new socks, pizza, fried chicken, and choice of clothing displayed in a shoppers’ choice format And most important a friendly smile and greeting. Many of our clients interact in conversations, some requesting information where they can seek housing or other assistance.
- We also serve across Wilmington and New Castle county by distributing bags to needy individuals containing food, toiletries, water, and new white socks.
